DS Audio Master3 Optical Cartridge
This is DS Audio’s new Semi-Flagship Model
Boasting a completely new design, this third generation cartridge implements independent LED’s and photo-detectors for both right and left channels. The result is increased output voltage from 40mV to 50mV (a 75% increase) which also improved channel separation.
The excellent signal to noise ration that DS Audio optical cartridges are renowned for has not been compromised. In fact, the DS Master3 offers a greatly improved S/N ration when compared to its sable mates, resulting in an even lower noise floor and far greater musical clarity. Additionally, crosstalk has been eliminated, greatly improving left and right channel separation (in particular the high frequency separation has improved by 10dB in comparison to its DS Audio forbearers)
